Find out how digital MUPIs can put your brand in front of more people in Spain’s busiest cities.

Digital MUPI locations across Spain

Most digital MUPIs are in city centres, stations, airports, car parks and other places where crowds are thickest. Some sit indoors, in shopping centres or in venues such as bars, restaurants and nightclubs…

Our digital advertising screens cover 53 Spanish cities. A few standout locations:

Advantages of advertising on digital MUPIs

In a town or city, digital MUPIs are a great way to get noticed: they’re sited where people pass and they’re very easy to see. When the light is low, their bright LED screens are even harder to miss.

  • Striking visual advertising, on show 24/7 where footfall is highest.
  • Strategic locations on the city’s main streets and avenues.
  • Greater brand awareness and trust.
  • Show-stopping creative that people remember.
  • Short campaigns or long ones, with full flexibility.
  • An unobtrusive format that improves message recall when run alongside social media campaigns.

Guide prices for digital screens

With digital screens, the price depends a great deal on the city and, above all, on the specific screen. Some start from €135 per screen per week; large-format screens, such as digital billboards and digital monopoles (in Spanish), have their own page with weekly prices. Your ad plays in rotation all day long. And there’s one big advantage over other advertising sites: no printing or posting costs. Tell us which city you’re interested in and we’ll send you the screens available there, each with its price.

The exact price of each advertising site is in the campaign planner (in Spanish), and your city’s guide price is on the locations page (in Spanish). Send us your dates and we’ll confirm a firm price.

Digital MUPI screen sizes and resolution

The standard resolution for these screens is 1920 x 1080 pixels. At that resolution your ad is clearly visible in any weather or light, from around 50 metres away. Other digital formats exist too, from smaller screens to large-format LED screens (in Spanish) (8 × 3 m digital billboards and digital monopoles), which have their own page.

The video normally runs in a one-minute loop (this can vary from screen to screen). Videos, or spots, are usually 10 seconds long. So your video comes round once a minute, alongside 5 others.

Frequently asked questions: digital MUPI advertising and its visual impact

How much does it cost to advertise on a digital MUPI?

It comes down to the location, how long the campaign runs and the number of screens booked. You’ll find every option in our campaign planner (in Spanish). Prices start at €135 per screen per week, with your spot rotating in the loop, and go up with the footfall at each screen. If you’d like to see exactly how rates are worked out, our guide to outdoor advertising prices (in Spanish) explains it.

How far ahead should I book a campaign?

Outdoor advertising space is limited. Digital gives you more room. Nothing has to go to print and every minute has 6 slots, so you can book at shorter notice and there’s a better chance of finding an available screen. We recommend confirming the campaign at least 15 days before it starts. For dates that really matter (Black Friday, Easter, Christmas, Valentine’s Day…), book it 1 to 2 months ahead.

Can I change the video during the campaign?

In most cases, yes. Multiple changes may carry an extra cost. Some screens even let you set the playback times. If your campaign is going to need video changes, talk to us first: depending on the screens involved, we’ll work out the best solution with you.

When do I have to send (or upload) the campaign video?

The sooner the better. That leaves time to review it and make sure nothing is wrong. In principle, a design that reaches us 2 days before the start date is still in time. So the usual thing is to book ahead and put the finishing touches to the design closer to the date.

Can I use a still image instead of a video?

Yes, that’s no problem. We don’t recommend it, though. A well-produced video has far more impact, and stays in the memory far longer, than a still image. You’d be throwing away part of what this kind of outdoor advertising site can do.

Do I need council permission to run an outdoor advertising campaign on the street?

No. The digital screens you can book come under a public concession. As long as the campaign keeps to the standard rules (no alcohol or tobacco advertising, nothing obscene…), the council doesn’t get involved. Put simply, the council lets companies run these spaces and sell the advertising on them, which is how advertisers reach the public with their ads or their message.

For businesses outside Spain

You can write to us in English (email or WhatsApp) and we’ll answer in writing, in English. Phone us on +34 628 062 892 and we’ll answer in Spanish.

These screens are all in Spain. Send us your video (or still image) as a file, in principle up to 2 days before the start date. There’s nothing to print or post.
