Find out what a kiosk poster does for your brand image, and how it gets you in front of a mass audience.

Where in Spain you can book advertising kiosks

As an outdoor advertising site, the kiosk is mostly found in town and city centres and at stations. Wherever footfall peaks.

Our kiosks are spread across several parts of Spain. Here are some of our main locations:

Why advertise on news kiosks

The poster on a kiosk is the same size as the one on a bus shelter or a MUPI, so the three formats are close cousins. Kiosks catch the eye of people out and about in town, because they’re well placed and hard to miss.

  • Eye-catching visual advertising, visible 24/7 in high-traffic areas.
  • Strategic locations on the main streets and avenues of each city.
  • Greater brand awareness and trust.
  • Flexibility for short and long campaigns alike.
  • Key spots around town that people walk past.
  • An unobtrusive advertising site that helps your message stick when it runs alongside a social media campaign.

Kiosk advertising prices: a guide

Price varies with the city, the exact spot and your dates. Rates start from €95 per face per week, and kiosks in central Madrid go up to €320. The examples below are a guide only. There’s no minimum order: book single faces if you prefer.

Exact prices per site are in the campaign planner (in Spanish), and a guide price for your city on its locations page (in Spanish). Write to us for a firm price for your dates.

Kiosk poster size

A kiosk poster comes in the standard size: 1.20 m wide by 1.75 m high, much the same as a UK 6-sheet. At that size your message reads clearly from around 50 metres, rain or shine, day or night.

As we mentioned, kiosks share their format with MUPI street panels, bus shelters and street clock panels. If your campaign mixes more than one of these, handling the artwork is a lot less work. You can download the guide to getting your design ready for print (PDF in Spanish), and a blog post explains how to prepare your file for the printer (in Spanish).

Kiosk advertising: frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to advertise on a kiosk?

It depends on the location. The length of the campaign matters too, and so does the number of sites you book. Pricing is in line with MUPIs and bus shelters. All the options are in our campaign planner (in Spanish). A kiosk face usually costs between €95 and €135 a week, and in central Madrid it reaches €320. If you’d like to see how the cost of a campaign is worked out, we break down outdoor advertising prices (in Spanish) step by step.

How far ahead should I book?

Exclusivity is the rule with kiosks. When someone books one for certain dates, nobody else can have it for that period. And the busier it gets, the harder it is to land the exact kiosk you had in mind. We usually tell clients to have the campaign confirmed around two months before it starts. If you’re targeting a big date (Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day or Black Friday), book 4 to 6 months in advance.

That said, bookings get cancelled now and then, or a kiosk goes unsold. Those kiosks can still be booked until 7 days before the start of the week in question. If you’re after one, ask the Marco Visual team.

Who prints the poster (the design), and what does it cost?

We do, from start to finish. Pick your advertising sites in the campaign planner and press ‘Siguiente’ (Next) to see what printing and posting will cost. On a kiosk, the poster for each face starts at €35, the same as on MUPIs and bus shelters.

When do I need to send (or upload) the design?

Send the kiosk poster as early as you can. The printers need to check it and make sure everything’s right. As a rule, the design can reach us as late as 7 days before launch. Most people book the kiosk months in advance and get the artwork finished as the date draws near.

Do I need the local council’s permission to run an outdoor ad campaign in the street?

Not at all. The kiosks on offer operate under a public concession. Keep to the usual restrictions (no alcohol or tobacco ads, nothing obscene…) and the council doesn’t get involved. Put another way, it’s the council that lets companies sell these spaces, and that’s how an advertiser can run ads there or get its message out to the people who live in the city.

For businesses outside Spain

Get in touch by email or WhatsApp and our team will reply in writing, in English. Our phone line (+34 628 062 892) is answered in Spanish.

All the kiosks we show here are in Spain. Send us the poster as a digital file, as a rule no later than 7 days before your campaign starts, and we look after the printing and posting.
