Advertise on jet panels: ‘jet’ is the name used in Spain for the backlit landscape posters inside metro and tram stations. You’ll find them in Madrid, Valencia and Alicante. Pick your faces on the map and book by the week, from just one.

Where to find jet panels in Spain

Jet panels sit inside the metro and tram networks: on platforms, in ticket halls, on landings and along the passageways into stations. This isn’t a street format. The people who see it are the city’s public transport users.

We currently have 111 faces on offer. There are 50 on the Valencia metro (Xàtiva, Colón, Túria, Àngel Guimerà, Patraix, Benimaclet…) and 34 on the Madrid metro (Goya, Velázquez, Príncipe de Vergara, Ciudad Universitaria and Feria de Madrid). The Alicante tram has 26 (Avenida Naciones, Cabo Huertas, Parada Holanda, Mercado, Marq…). There’s also one stand-alone unit in Marbella, this one at street level rather than in a station. You’ll see the map once you scroll to this section.

Why advertise on metro jet panels

A jet plays a different game from street furniture: passengers don’t walk past it, they stand still a few metres from the poster.

  • A standing audience, not a passing one. Dwell time on the platform runs to minutes, not the few seconds a street impression gets.
  • Backlit and under cover: the same result first thing in the morning, at night and in bad weather.
  • A landscape format 2 metres wide, almost twice the width of a MUPI. There’s room for a panoramic image or a wordier message without squeezing it.
  • Huge, measured audiences: the Madrid metro ended 2025 with 736,874,012 journeys, a record in its 106-year history, and the Valencia metro carried 91,640,139 passengers.
  • Station-by-station targeting: you can pick just the stop for your neighbourhood, your campus or your trade fair.
  • From a single week, with no long-term commitment. If you’re after frequency, you can book consecutive fortnights.

Jet panel prices

Jets are booked per face per week, and the rate depends on the network and the station. Prices start from €130 per face per week on the Alicante tram and reach €350 at Feria de Madrid, the most in-demand location. There’s no minimum order: you can book one face for one week.

NetworkStationsFacesPrice per face per week
Alicante tramAvenida Naciones, Cabo Huertas, Parada Holanda, Mercado, Marq… (includes San Vicente del Raspeig)26€130
Valencia metroXàtiva, Colón, Túria, Àngel Guimerà, Patraix, Benimaclet…49€145

Madrid metroFeria de Madrid (line 8)17€350
Printing and postingOne poster per face; the campaign planner gives you the figure before you book—€50-€70

An example: 5 faces on the Valencia metro for a fortnight come to €1,450 for the space, plus printing and posting. Two faces sit outside these rates, one in Valencia at €135 and another in Marbella at €126. As each is a single face, we don’t advertise them as the entry price. We’d rather publish a ‘from’ price you can actually book. Every advertising site has its exact price in the campaign planner (in Spanish). Tell us your dates and we’ll lock in the price.

Jet panel sizes

As a rule, a jet panel measures 147 cm high by 200 cm wide: a landscape format, the opposite way round to a MUPI. That’s the size of all 76 sites in Alicante and Valencia. In Madrid it’s slightly smaller, 144 x 197 cm. If your campaign combines both networks, you’ll need two versions of the file: the difference is three centimetres per side, but it’s best not to force the scaling. Marbella has a single portrait unit, 172 cm high by 117 cm wide, on the street (Avenida de la Ribera) rather than in a station. If that’s the one you want, we’ll send you its exact template.

Backlit and read from a few metres away, it can carry more copy than a billboard, but dark backgrounds let it down. Contrast is what counts. You can download our artwork guide (PDF in Spanish), and there’s a blog post on getting a design ready to print (in Spanish).

If it’s the street you’re after rather than the station, the equivalent format is the portrait MUPI, 1.20 x 1.75 m. You’ll find it on our MUPI, bus shelter and street clock & thermometer pages.

Frequently asked questions about jet panels

What is a jet panel, and how is it different from a MUPI?

‘Jet’ is what Spain calls a backlit landscape poster, 147 cm high by 200 cm wide. It’s fitted inside metro and tram stations: on platforms, in ticket halls and along access corridors. It differs from a MUPI street panel in shape and in setting. A MUPI is portrait (120 cm wide by 175 cm high) and stands in the street. A jet is landscape, almost twice as wide, and is seen close up while passengers wait for their train or walk through the station. It’s booked per face per week, from a single week.

How much does it cost to advertise on a jet panel?

Rates vary by network and station. On today’s inventory, it’s €130 per face per week on the Alicante tram, €145 on the Valencia metro, €280 at Madrid metro stations and €350 at Feria de Madrid, the most in-demand location. Printing and posting the poster comes on top, at about €60 per face. The campaign planner shows you that figure before you book.

Where are the jet panels?

There are 111 faces, spread across five towns and cities in four provinces. Valencia has 50 on the metro, at stations such as Xàtiva, Colón, Túria, Àngel Guimerà and Patraix. Madrid has 34 on the metro: Goya, Velázquez, Príncipe de Vergara, Ciudad Universitaria and Feria de Madrid. Alicante has 26 on the tram, at stops such as Avenida Naciones, Cabo Huertas and Parada Holanda, and 3 of them are in San Vicente del Raspeig. Marbella, in the province of Málaga, has 1 face, the only one that isn’t in a station.

What’s the minimum campaign length on jet panels?

One week. Jets are sold by the face and by the week, so you can book a single face for a single week and build up from there. The most common booking is a fortnight, two weeks back to back. That gives the same passenger time to see the poster several times, on the way in and on the way home.

How do I prepare the artwork for a jet panel?

The artwork is landscape: 147 cm high by 200 cm wide in Alicante and Valencia, and 144 x 197 cm in Madrid. As a backlit site seen from a few metres away, a jet takes a little more copy than a billboard. Even so, keep the message short and the contrast strong. We print and post the poster (about €60 per face), and we need the file at least 7 days before the campaign starts.

Jet panel or street clock: which suits me?

They’re two different formats with different audiences. A jet panel sits inside the metro or tram station and reaches people travelling by public transport, with long dwell times at close range. A street clock is out on the street, at junctions and along avenues, and is seen by pedestrians and drivers alike. If your audience travels by metro, go for jets. If you want visibility on the street, have a look at the page on street clocks and thermometers.

For businesses outside Spain

We answer emails and WhatsApp messages in English, in writing. If you ring +34 628 062 892, we’ll speak to you in Spanish.

Like every other site we sell (MUPIs, bus shelters, 8x3 m billboards…), these jet panels are all in Spain: in metro and tram stations, plus one on a street in Marbella. We need your artwork as a print-ready file no later than 7 days before the start date. We handle the printing and posting.
